"Every time you draw, you create a new world, parallel to ours"
© Glenn Schoch
I generally paint with acrylic, but I use different pictorial techniques and different materials such as wood, cardboard, canvas and paper. The choice of colors is a part that I really like because I want to make sure that, for those who look at it, there is a vision of harmony as a whole. I really like doing the imitation of wood. I start by creating a geometric figure to put together landscapes (mountains) and finally add a subject.
I like to use perspective and different vanishing points and by sharing them I create my drawings. I use materials such as ruler, compass, pencil, charcoal and pastels. My favorite subject is a little man that takes on different shapes, which I always represent in my paintings. In my drawings, I want to represent the geometry found in the natural world and in space (universe).
My philosophy of art My thoughts are that even the existence or reality of a completed artwork continues to depend on from fiction or the artist's imaginative activity or some other subject, as the observer or the reader who appreciates the work as a work of art. The creation of my works I interpret as the communion between magical and Utopian, since where a painting is created, it creates a new world, where somewhere in the universe this thought, manifested by creating a reality, waiting to be discovered. When I start a painting, I don't have a specific subject in my mind, but I am leaving tracing of lines that playing in my imagination, and I emerge in this fantasy world of energy and creativity where time stands still. My paintings invite us to travel through time in faraway places and unknown galaxy, full of colors beyond the dreams.
